A Dungeon With Puzzles

I'm suggesting a procedurally generated (random every time the player enters) dungeon which resembles something like those in the Legend Of Zelda with simple "push the boxes/boulders", "light the torches" kinds of puzzles, some traps, and a small (something tolerable for mobile players) amount of bullet hell.

To go a bit further in depth:

Each floor is multiple square rooms depending on map size, the exit is always accessible and rooms don't lock on the player if enemies are present.

Puzzles can be failed and won't reset.

Moderate amount of monsters per room which shoot projectiles.

Traps which are hidden but have slight giveaways (bombs, pressure plate and arrows, etc).

Loot: no idea, I would imagine not all players are looking for this kind of experience so whatever can be found will have an alternative source. It's just this dungeon will provide those items in more abundance.

I would love to see something like that in Stardew honestly, even if it was similar to the loot levels in the mines or even if it was a whole other area (potentially connected to Gil?)

I could see this as a later game challenge after completing a handful of monster challenges from Gil this area will open up. It would add to his character and honestly could add a different level of combat challenge and a puzzle element. (It'd be super cool)

There already is a texture on most cavern walls in the mines that look like writing, that could easily be turned into a clue for whatever "puzzle" was on that level. Again like you said, it could be super simple with torches/rocks or even a whole new area.

(god I love Zelda puzzles, and this thread got me rambling haha)

I've found myself leaning towards an ancient dwarf factory with a heavy emphasis on artifacts. Problem is those have no use late game, I wanted to mention the idea of artifacts being required in things like the slime press, slime incubator, slime hutch and crystalarium to put a bit more emphasis on their usage but I'm certain this wouldn't go over well with the community hence my leaving it out on the original post.

Text could be included for those who are completely clueless, for the most part I'm sure the top down viewpoint in the game would be enough to provide the player with a basic idea as to what is going on. I'm glad to not be the only person who would like to see something like this in game.
