Enough room?

I was wondering is there enough wall space in a fully upgraded farmhouse (Including cellar and renovations) to display every painting (Except 'Boat' :p) on the walls? I want to make an art gallery and was wondering if it is possible?

Thanks

My instinct is no. Even eliminating all fireplaces and windows, I don’t think the farmhouse can hold all the paintings. I mean there are the 9 from Lupini, the ones given as rewards, the catalogue collection, and the various paintings hidden around the map. If you’re including decals and other decorations it seems virtually impossible. Real life museums rotate their collections though, so you could consider that.

Of course, I’ve been wrong before and I hope for your sake I’m wrong this time! Let us know if it works for you.

Agreed, not enough space. However if you build cabins, and have them fully upgraded as well, you’ll certainly have space. Then you could theme them as well: Lupin in the main house, catalog paintings in one cabin, rewards in another, purchasable non-Lupins in a 3rd, or whatever.

I didn’t think it was possible to upgrade cabins in single player mode. Did they change that? Or do you just have friends come in briefly to upgrade them?

You can add an a player without having someone play it, or do that yeah. One way or another, there has to be a player to upgrade it that isn't you.
Exactly this. And since Robin is slow about it and all then you need something you can easily do multiple times. The hardwood requirements shouldn’t be overlooked either. Still, if you have access to another computer or someone who is willing it can be done. I’ve done it before for extra basements and more cask space, before I decided casks weren’t for me. Haven’t done it on my current end game save yet, because it’s certainly not convenient. But it is an option.

I play on the switch so playing as two people is pretty easy

You can do it by yourself as well by opening the game through the .exe files and joining yourself on PC.

I'm sure we could fit all the paintings in the farmhouse if it were a 3D type situation where we had the ability to decorate all 4 walls. But in this 2D game, I put them everywhere: in my house, in my sheds, etc. My entire farm becomes an art museum. 😆
