I just discovered this about emotes?!

I didn't know you could SWITCH EMOTES?! I never paid attention to this indicator:

You can switch out the emotes!! Sorta like in Animal Crossing: New Horizons where you can switch out tools in that circle selector thing. So COOL!

Yeah so I never knew these existed. Even watching Wickedy Chickady videos I thought they were a mod or something.

And then someone here in the Forums within the last ~2-3 weeks mentioned them in a matter of fact way. Maybe with whatever the key combination is and I tried it.

Huh.

I don't need to be an emotionless log in the game any more.

They're only really useful in MP, but yeah, i was surprised when i found it as well on accident one day. I was equally surprised when i found out we had emotes in the first place.

I'm sorry! I haven't been online in a bit but I actually don't know anything about the Switch version. ^^;; If it helps though, maybe you have a similar indicator on Switch? Like the one I noticed pictured above! Good luck either way!

I've figured it out! Huzzah!

You have to press and hold the right joystick, then point it in the direction of the desired emote, and then hit the - button. Simply tapping the right joystick will bring up the chat.

Those are for the special emotes like "jar" and "taunt"
