Willy's a seasoned deep-sea fisherman looking for Tuna, Giant Squid, and Giant-- er, Anchovy. Who wouldn't even consider Fishing unnavigable waters for trifling prey such as the Sunfish. He needs some less worldly lackey in hipwaders like The Farmer to brave those shallow fast moving waters, dipping their hook under the lazy shade of an overarching tree, bravely fighting against the overwhelming odds favoring... a midmorning nap.
Willy knows he's no match for a lazy day on land, only The Farmer can shoulder that heavy task... and lose almost every time.

Well, if he doesn't like river fish that much, why does he spend most of his Saturday fishing in the river in both the forest and town? And where is he hosting this tea party?

I think he's just fishing there for show, so people who never make it to the Beach remember there's even a guy selling seafood in town. After all, every time I talk to him in the Saloon, he's always on about warming up before a cold night out on the ocean. Never how it was a nice warm afternoon dipping your toes lazily in the stream meandering through town, tossing rocks into the water and being crestfallen that no fish ever bite, so dozing under a tree is of course the best use of time.
Maybe I can tech some River Fishing etiquette classes on the odd Tuesday when everyone else is avoiding my pocketbook. Rule 1: nobody should ever feel self-conscious about bringing an airline pillow.

I do believe Seb has asked me for a Green Bean to throw at the cliffside in 3 different saves. Toss it and it lands with barely a sound. Might as well be a pillow or something. He really needs to get out more.
If yer a-gunna toss something at a pile of rocks, make it a Melon or Tomato or a Void Egg!
Or if you want to trigger Pierre, toss a Sweet Gem Berry, on which he'll never make his insane markup.

Okay, so funny story...In my most recent save, I've been harvesting the bejeezuz out of wheat, so when Pierre's 25 Gold Star vegetables. Well...Wheat counts as a vegetable, so 2 harvests later, and he's trying to sell 25 Gold Wheat for a truly absurd price. I found the cutscene very entertaining.
