Weather predictor.. besides the TV?

I check the TV daily for weather for the next day..but for upgrading tools, I'd like to see weather 2 or 3 days in advance. Is there a calendar or something, or is the weather random? I need a new watering can but all these sunny beautiful days are killing me.

I'd try to upgrade things like your watering can during the winter so you don't have to worry about your crops but if you don't want to wait you can use a rain totem if you can make one

When I start a new file, I personally just upgrade the watering can at the end of a season, when I know I may not get anything else from my crops that produce more than one harvest. If loss in profit is something that concerns you with this method, just go fishing.

You only need one rainy day. When you see on the tv the next day will be rainy - water your crops, give the can to Clint. The next day you don't need it. The day after, go take it from Clint and continue to water your crops.

It's not really loss in profit. I planted more than I can feasibly water without spending half my day doing it. I don't think I have sprinkler access yet. Rookie move.
