Annual Profit for each Category

The only realistic way to boost your Foraging numbers is to have insanely large fields planting seasonal wild seeds, and even then it'll be cut by the fact that you need to use a substantial number of them to make more seeds for more planting. I don't know if this can even break more than even but it's worth a shot. At least it is something you can do year-round. I doubt it will get you where you want to be, but it should at least get you closer.

Getting the secret note with the bear that triples the value of salmonberries and blackberries will help somewhat during those seasons, but honestly it's not going to get you where you really want to be.

Fishing is great early game, but as others have mentioned, there's not much scaling once you've mastered the minigame. More profitable than most other options in your first Spring, but by the time Summer rolls around, a Farmer with Hops and Melons (we're going to assume that Starfruit is off the menu in your first summer) is going to out-profit a fisherman. And it just snowballs from there, becoming painfully one-sided once the Greenhouse is unlocked and you get your first Ancient Seed.

I've seen TheHaboo put 500+ trees in just the desert and railroad area, it's definitely doable. (And yes, tappers work there.)

Regular trees need at least one space between them, regardless of whether you need fertilizer. (That is, you can put a tree on every other tile - unlike fruit trees where you need two spaces between them.)
I see... Im going to start changing the desert into a tapper factory... XD

Yeah, i'm currently waiting for the end of the year 6, and next year, im gonna switch my ginger farm from sweet gem berry into a full winter seeds running the whole year, according to my calculations, it can give me extra 2mil in foraging. With the tapper factory also going to be build on the desert, let's see the result after the end of year 7... XD

If you are willing to grind and want to really adavance your forgaing potencial, you could create many sheds with only pots and deluxe retaining soil which will always stay watered.
I have them for profit with pineapples and starfuit but you really don't need that many and you can put anything in them, only 5 of them is really needed to completely replace your ginger island farm. and more can be added for way more profit, I currently have more than 3000 crops planted at once and I only have 3 parsnips planted on my entire farm.

The thing is, wild seeds on garden pots doesnt affect by botanist perks, the wiki also mention that i can only get normal quality from that. Since we can't use sprinklers to water garden pots, it seems the most effective way for garden pots are using regrow-crops that will be produced later (keg/jars) + retaining soil...

Plus without the Hyper Speed Gro (since you need the retaining soil) it's only 4 crops per season instead of 7. Between those two things it's less than 40% as much profit so you'd need 12 to replace the ginger island farm, which on 4 corners is a HUGE space investment and makes it difficult to fit in the pigs.

You could sell the seeds which would make more than the base crop, what I meant was that you also put your rare seeds into there (no iridium ones tho) and the wild seeds on ginger island so you wouldn't have to abandon your money making venture.
Also 12 sheds doesn't really take up that much space:

Only 12 x 28 or 336 spaces, one tenth of farming space on four corners.

Hello, i'm currently at Year 6 with 100% Completion and i don't know what else to do (Since i dont want to start a new farm)... So i decided to only sell things at 28 winter, and i want to balance for each category...

What i have currently for my Year 5:
Farming Category : 15m
- 8-9m from Bee House + Fairy Rose Honey (West of Ginger Farm)
- 6-7m from Ancient Fruit Juice (Greenhouse + 1 Big Shed full of Keg + 4 Cellar for Cask)
Mining Category : 7m
- Crystalarium for Diamond (Quarry)
Other Category : 6m
- Sweet Gem Berry (Ginger Farm, half for seed maker, half for sell)
Fishing Category : ~1m
- Crab Pots (Beach)
Foraging Category : ~400k

The problem is, it's very unbalance between each category. Any idea what to do to increase my fishing and foraging category?
I tried lava eel fish pond to make aged roe, but it goes to farming category. The basic roe goes to foraging, but it takes so much space for fish ponds comparing to the sell price. Oh, and i'm using 4 corner farm, and one section goes to ranching (for daily cooking supplies and animal collection), and another one section goes for buildings (main buildings, sheds, obelisks, slime hutch, cabin, storage, etc). It leaves me with 2 other sections

Please give me idea... Thanks
if your looking for stuff to do, try maxing out the hearts on your favourite character, or as many characters as you want for that matter. when i first played stardew, i almost strictly farmed, mined and fished and barely even spoke to the characters. when i
finally did in my 2nd playthrough, it felt like a whole new game!

But it would give me "Other" category instead of foraging... And for the rare seeds, Im planning to not doing sweet gem berry thing, instead testing the truffle method...

Screenshot (212).png

Farming : 13m (visual error after 7th digit)
- Ancient Wine + Cask : 6,6m
- Bee House + Fairy Rose : 7m (I missed a few times of bee harvesting due to rearranging almost my entire farm)
Foraging : 3m
- Added 333 Maple tree : 1,5m+ (half with heavy tapper, targeting to have all heavy tapper before next year)
- Winter seeds on ginger island during fall+winter : 1m+
- Clam from crab pots and some world foraging : ~200k
Fishing : 5m
- Added more crab pots on ginger island, having total around 300 crab pots : 3m
- New source of fishing (doing extended family and grinding legendary II, I got like around 100/year) and some other fish : ~2m
Mining : 10m (another visual error)
- Crystalariums : 7,2m
- I bought some endless fortune during summer and put inside a shed (currently 1/3 full), selling the iridium, gold, and extra diamonds : 3m
Other : 8.9m
- Sweet Gem Berry (during Spring and Summer, waiting for robin build my sheds) : ~4m
- Truffles!!! 4 full sheds, give me around 80-100 per day : ~5m
Total Annual Income : 41m

Still need to work more on foraging and fishing, but it's a lot better than previous year... Im so happy, but my mission is not done yet.. XD

Are you using the statue in the sewer to switch professions on Winter 27, the day before you do all your shipping, to take best advantage of all the sell bonuses?

That's a very nice little earner for just 4 barns. I've done a huge pig farm before, but I never kept any records in such detail, I just picked and shipped the truffles and thought no more of it.

Did you loiter around the farm all day, picking up truffles as quickly as possible, to leave space for new spawns? Or did you just collect in the evening, sacrificing the space for new spawns in exchange for other off-farm activities?

Yeah, it's because I need the number to calculate...
I'm using four corners layout, and one sections is dedicated for pigs, minus few tiles for fence etc... planting several grass and block it under the fence (preventing to completely eaten) barricading the pigs area, the grass growth are not fast enough to fed 48 pigs everyday, so the remaining area will be empty everyday.. the goal is to spread the pigs from early morning, and save just a bit of hay
I collected the truffles around 7-8PM everyday, after doing everything else... No time to stay in the farm all day, since I also need to collect hundreds of crab pots everyday
