Wheedling up to Caroline (Universal Likes)

Apart from Daffodil (of which I no longer have any), what are the things Caroline actually likes?

I tried giving her items from the "Universal Likes" list in the Wiki, but she was skeptical/neutral towards such things as vegs and fruit (I gave her peppers and blueberries).

I'm in Fall year 1, so too late to grow summer spangles until I unlock the greenhouse...

Fruit tree fruit are universal likes, I think other fruit are not. And pepper counts as a fruit, not a vegetable.

You could try some other vegetables, fruit tree fruit or cheese.

Beware of mayo, it's her exception from universal likes.

Well, here is a screenshot of what the wiki says she likes, but the second one is a little stupid since you're obviously trying to get the recipe for the tea sapling in the first place.
A potentially easy gift would be earth crystals if you have any of those.

lol, it must've been Demetrius, that old fool, tricking us with his fruit\veggie witchcraft. In fact, I would go so far as to say that DEMETRIUS is the witch!

Gems are your other option. They're universal likes, they're very easy to find, and they're not worth much. Chuck a few topaz or amethyst her way and you'll be BFFs in no time at all

Show up on Tuesdays to gym class with gems. I'll have to remember that one.

I generally tend to use tree fruit from the cave as my go-to universal like, but in Summer/Fall year 1 I've not yet amassed a usable stock of them. Same for gems.

This should make it simpler to decide what to craft with my first 2 iridium bars - crystallarium to replicate gems. Is Jade the fastest to replicate?

Quartz is fastest, but Caroline hates it. Earth Crystal is the second fastest, and Caroline likes it.

Parsnips, potatoes and tomatoes worked for me. I’m pretty sure she like corn- it’s just Pierre who hates it.

Parsnips, Potatoes, and Green Beans seem the best way to get those hearts up with Caroline after you run out of Daffodils. Green Beans are nice as you can get 6 harvests per plant in Spring Y1 and no replanting. The Bean Starter seeds are pretty cheap at 60g, too. I may end up selling all but 1 of those initial Parsnip Seeds (for the achievement and CC bundle) and mainline Green Beans next save.

Good for Spring like when you're trying to do your tea bush run... but hexnessie's in Fall, so we're looking at corn and bok choy as cheap liked gifts.

A couple easy liked gifts for fall would be sunflowers or yams. Not everyone likes maple syrup but Caroline does. She also likes fairy rose.
