So, I'm not that great at fishing, and tend to forget to fish for the rare fishies that can only be caught in the rain, in specific season and so on. But I really needed to finally catch that sturgeon.

First bit of luck: it was raining AND the spirits were very happy!
Second bit of luck: I caught 13 sturgeons, not 1!

And coup de grace:

I popped into the mines when I was done fishing in the mountain lake to restock on bugmeat for bait.

And a grub dropped a prismatic shard.

But IIRC, sturgeons are available whatever the weather is during the season, so you did not need the day to be a rainy one.

But IIRC, sturgeons are available whatever the weather is during the season, so you did not need the day to be a rainy one.

Indeed, but the rain was an extra lucky thing because sturgeons are supposed to be more common on rainy days -- hence the large catch instead of the 1 that I was expecting!
