My Switch and PC Farms [spoiler] 1.5 content

I’m going to share two different saves of mine (one on Switch, and modded one on PC). Due to image limits, I’m going to share my two saves in two separate posts. ^^

SWITCH:
When 1.5 was released, I immediately created a new save and started up a Beach Farm. It’s currently in year 7, married to Alex, with two kids. It’s nearly 100% completed (concerning the achievements).

I took these screenshots a while ago, before I started playing on PC (which was this past July).

First up is the farm itself -which I still have plenty to do, such as finish upgrading my second barn so that I can move all of my pigs in there, and have room in my first barn so that my ostrich can finally hatch, finish my wine shed, and buy the golden clock:

Next is the inside of my house … I saw people making their own washrooms, so I decided to do one too! Which, while messing around with the design, I noticed how the one tank could pass for a washer machine:

Next up is the interior of my one shed that I turned into a ‘tea house’ of sorts … there are soooo many inspirations out there to do this:

Next up are my fully upgraded barn and two coops … again, so many inspirations for me to want to decorate the insides of them:

Last screenshot I had done was of the inside of another shed that I used displayed my collection, was well as for my furnaces and crystalariums:

PC MODDED FARM:

SVE is installed, and I decided to try out ‘Grandpa’s Farm’, which I absolutely love!

Year 5, once again married to Alex, and two kids. I was waaayyy more efficient in this save, especially when it came to making money and how I made the money, so I was able to buy the gold clock in the beginning of year 5! Woot! ^o^ Was really proud of myself for that one.

Farm layout … not quite finished, but getting there!

Interior of farmhouse - can’t wait for second child to grow so that I can get rid of the crib, better separate and organize/decorate the kid’s room, and their playroom to the right of their room:

Interior of my shed, which is a tea house an upgraded version of my Switch one … but also a boba one:

Interior of a cabin that has been upgraded once (used a mod to be able to), and I decorated to be essentially like an ‘in-law suite’ for my farmer’s family:

My beach farm also has a mini graveyard on the greenhouse island. I ended up putting the golden clock there too. I love both your farms! They are really nicely decorated and laid out.

Thank you very much! And woot! It just seemed like the perfect place for graveyard / looked like it should be one. I was also going to be place my gold clock over there in the center of the graves. But, after getting my four warp towers, I decided I’m going to put with them. ^^

Yes, It is a lot of fun! I guess I enjoy being able to play anywhere, but with joycon drift being so bad now I just have a hard time doing it in the first place :/

Thank you very much! It took me so long to figure out how I wanted to do it lol I changed my mind literally over 20 times, and spends hours working on it. lol

The ‘joycon drift’? Sorry. ^^;; Not sure what you meant by that.

There's this thing with joy cons that after a while playing with them they'll start drifting. It's really annoying and it's even worse when it's in handheld mode. Apparently Nintendo will give you new ones if you send them back but I just haven't made the time to do it.

This is good know! I haven’t yet experienced this -knock on wood- but if I do, at least I now know I can exchange them with Nintendo. Thank you for the info on that!

I can relate to that. Its a fun time even if it takes hours, then it looks all nice and pretty lol. Its my favorite part of the game after "beating" it (100% achievements).

When decorating is an option for a game, it’s decorating that can delay me 100%-ing it, due to the fact that I get caught up in decorating lol. It is a nice pace though, when I want a break from mining/fishing/whatever it is, and just focus on some decorating. <so close to having 100% on my Switch … so-so-so-so very close … I should probably get on that some point soon lol)

Thank you very much! I’m so proud of how they turned out, especially the one in my Switch game! The new furniture added in with 1.5 helped to add the right amount of touches ^^

I really like your beach farm and the stardrop design on the eastern part is a very nice feature. I never tried the beach farm, but you gave me some ideas when I will test it.

Also, you did a super job with all the shed designs. The tea house and museum are instant favorites!

Your tea house idea and the museum type shed with displaying your treasures is honestly really great. I keep finding prismatic shards and I eventually want to create some weird psychedelic shed with them to display them. Thanks for the inspo!
