I'd just look for another one, personally, sorry for your troubles. FYI you can use the Mouseypounds Stardew Predictor to see how many geodes you need to crack before you need to crack an artifact trove to get another one, definitely seems like the situation warrants its use if possible. Are you playing on PC?Well, I already donated the Elvish Ring/Jewelry in the museum but it shows i havent discovered it. :/
do i just try and look for another *what a pain acckk*
yes from fishing, oh i see noted ! ill try to find a new one with artifact troves then thank you so much!!Did you find it by fishing? This was a known bug, I'm not sure if it was ever fixed.
You'll have to find an another one, but at least it can be found in artifact troves.
yes im playing in pc, is the mouseypad a mod? :oI'd just look for another one, personally, sorry for your troubles. what is the chicken glitch? :oDoes the chicken glitch still work?
Not a mod, you just use this:yes im playing in pc, is the mouseypad a mod? :o
idk the details because I've never done it, but it has something to do with naming a chicken after the item you want. I'm sure someone else could fill you in better than I can. I also don't know if getting items that way works for collections.what is the chicken glitch? :o
i see thank you so much this helps a ton!Not a mod, you just use this:
Stardew Predictor
An app which simulates the pRNG in Stardew Valley, reads a save file, and predicts some future events.mouseypounds.github.io
Upload your save, it will tell you in the "geodes" tab what's coming up. They're in order, and you move down a row each time you crack a geode, regardless of type. So as an example for me Elvish Jewelry is 10 away, so I could crack 9 geodes / omnigeodes / frozen geodes / whatever, then crack open an artifact trove from the desert trader, and get it that way, if I needed it. Normally I don't personally use the tool but in the case of correcting an obvious bug / glitch it seems only fair and right, I hope it helps!
What I would do is save up omni geodes for a while and then go to the desert trader. Trade those omnis in for artifact troves and save those up until you've got about 50 of them. Then go to Clint's and open only artifact troves until you get one. It would be really hard to not find elvish jewelry in 50 shots in a row. Also having this problem and since I’m on console I have no way to upload my save for the geode thing. Any other way to do this beside artifact digging
I spent the past Winter in-game digging up the entire map and you do not get Artifacts from anything other than the wiggle-worm Artifact Spots. There are other drops like Clay (and root Forage in Winter) but no actually valuable Artifacts. Though the Winter Root is valuable in early game to make Mixed Seeds in the Seed Maker for crafting Tea Saplings for that moneymaking strategy. One thing that is still not clear to me after hundred of hours of play time: can we dig for artifacts only on artifact spots, or is there a small chance to also get artifact if we till regular tiles? On every farm there is always one artifact that is a real pain to get because of the low artifact spot spawn in some areas, especially small ones like the Backwoods.
