Hello,
I'm starting a few days ago with stardew valley, and i love it so much. Only one thing I don't like very much. For me is the in game time really really to fast. I don't can make everything at the day what I want to do. Do you know if there will be came a update with this feature. I'm playing it on the switch.

Kind Regards

Marcel
I feel it's a game where you're meant to focus on just a few things at a time, and even if each in-game day is relatively short you shouldn't try doing too much at a time. Over time I think you will eventually get a feel for what you're capable of doing in each day, and learn to prioritize the things that will benefit you the most. Personally I like the short days, because it leads to longer play sessions instead of having to sit around waiting for real world time to pass.

Like look at Animal Crossing, and the real time days it uses. It kind of ruins the games for me because there were too many times where I couldn't really play because I couldn't do what I wanted or needed to do. I struggle with my sleep habit, and rarely ever maintain a steady routine, so there were too many times where things like my shops were closed or my villagers were asleep and I couldn't really do much. I know you can manipulate time by setting your console's clock, but I don't like doing that. Plus I hated waiting real time hours, days, months, or even longer just to experience certain things in the game.

I'll happily take the shorter days in Stardew, because I'd rather be limited in what I can do because there's not enough time than have too much time and just sit around waiting.

The short days in the game only seem to intrude into my play style when it comes to the Mines and even worse for those other 2 places like the Mines where your progress doesn't have an equivalent "save point" which the elevator functions as.

Otherwise, it's as haywud says, you get to focus and manage your time based on what you find most important or valuable. And some of the fun is developing you own personal min/max style, identifying where you can get the most out of your daily time without gouging out your eyes walking by the 400 Red Cabbage or Amaranth.

Too much purple, my eyes!!! (don't tell Abigail, pls...)

In one of those places (the one in the desert), if you're playing in singleplayer the days are actually longer - when you're in that place, each 10-minute time interval takes ~9 real-life seconds instead of ~7 seconds, IIRC. Personally I wish this was also the case in the other place you're referring to...

As others have said, unfortunately not.

I'm currently trying to get a friend into the game because he's going through a rough time and this game helped me a lot in similar times. He is stressing over the passing daytime in game too, because he is used to Animal Crossing. It takes some getting used to, and it is easy to stress yourself out by wanting to get more done in one in game day but nothing is missable, you can always get everything, talk to everyone, do everything eventually.

Once you get used to the gameplay loop, itll feel natural. You can speed up your character's movement though with food like Spicy Eel or the more accessible Pepper Poppers, coffee, espresso, etc. Coffee and food speed buffs stack too! Pepper poppers can be cooked with a kitchen or cookout kit, they take Hot Peppers and Cheese to make, and you get the recipe from being 3 hearts with Shane. Not what you're looking for exactly but it helps get more done in a day if you've stockpiled Pepper Poppers :P
