I've been a bit hesitant signing up due to social anxiety -- but today I decided to join the forums!

I've recently taught myself how to mod Stardew recently, and have been having fun! I've been playing for about a year now on PC, and wanted to give it a go with oodles of mods.
(Not enough to crash my PC, mind you).

Anyways -- wanted to stop in and say hello! I hope to be active within the community here when able. ​

I'd have to say Moon or Sapphire! Those two I have a close connection with due to getting them at very difficult time(s) in my life, and they were getting ready for release -- something to keep me occupied and able to get through what I needed.

Oooh I've only played Sapphire out of those two. Do you usually go for grass, water, or fire pokemon (for starters)? I'd have to say my favorite is Crystal. It just feels so nostalgic and I believe it was the first one to use day and night 0: I could be wrong but either way, I really enjoyed that one ^_^ It's amazing how games can help us escape and relax during difficult times. I've had a couple of games that did just that for me as well. I went through some medical issues for about a year and a half and games are kind of what kept me going.

Oooh I've only played Sapphire out of those two. Do you usually go for grass, water, or fire pokemon (for starters)? I'd have to say my favorite is Crystal. It's a hard choice, honestly -- It depends on what starter I feel most "connected" to when they're shown, so I don't usually have a preference! I did start off with Popplio in Moon because they're just the sweetest thing IMO, and I started off with Mudkip in Sapphire because I absolutely LOVE Swampert -- I even have a Mega form plush I got from the Pokemon center!!

I agree 100%, I've used video games as a way to help me/cope with my issues for so many years. Some will claim it's not exactly healthy -- but I do other things too, I just find peace in being able to get away from the real world for awhile.​

As long as it isn't harming anyone I don't see the issue (: Some people look to meditation, reading, and on the flip side drugs to drown that kind of thing out. I don't always agree or like things in every game, but I don't go out of my way to make hate or bash it. ^^;

Eventually I plan to get one and Pokemon Sword, and the new Animal Crossing! I'll probably also grab Stardew again, just because I love it that much, and having it on-the-go would be pretty nice!

Aww, it's a Ditto Vulpix! I love the Ditto version plushies of Pokemon, the face just makes the whole thing perfect. xD

Same here ;^; I'm currently jobless due to all of this but I'm sure things will pick up soon enough. The job search commences! Lol my downfall is always interviews ;^; I feel so scrutinized and in turn that makes me super nervous xD even if I am more than qualified for whatever the job might be.

Once we both get our Switches we should definitely co op some games!

Hehe yes it's a cute design. I was away in Canada last Christmas and I wanted to get her something small. She ended up finding those online and I let her pick whichever one she liked the most.
