PC Can't trash Museum furniture rewards

Hello everyone,
As the title says I have recently discovered that you can't trash Museum furniture rewards. I'm not positive that this is a bug yet, but I find it very annoying to try and get rid of an item without trashing it. Will this be fixed eventually?

In every one of my saves I just have a chest in the house that has my spare junk... rewards I'm not using to decorate with and other things that can't be sold/trashed. I just cram all that stuff in the chest I have shoved in a corner somewhere and forget about it.

I always have chests in the coop and barn. Besides using them for extra hay and eggs / milk waiting processing, they are handy for storing all those skeleton statues and other oddities. Chests in the house tend to get full.

I still feel like this needs to be fixed. You can trash all other furniture, so why not the Museum ones? (Especially when some pieces, like Jade Hills, can be had in the Furniture Catalog.)
