Visual glitch in SDE museum

Howdy, I'm playing stardew valley expanded on windows. For whatever reason in the museum, there are what seems to be staircase textures(??) on the display cases. I have a lot of mods but I'm not sure what could be causing this. Does anyone have any ideas? Here's my log.

What mod adds the glass display cases? I don't see anything editing the museum except SVE, and Cute Valley is the only thing editing townInterior.

I am getting XNB mod vibes except that SVE should be overriding those *narrows eyes*

(Oh, is it part of SVE? Weird.)

I don't have any xnb mods to my knowledge, I try to stay away from those. It seems cute valley was causing the problem because it goes away once I took it out. Now I need to figure out what it is about cute valley that's making that happen I guess.

I have been downloading SVE for what feels like an eternity to look at their museum map (to see what tilesheet it uses that might be being edited -- it's weird that Cute Valley should collide with it since I'm sure it's a custom sheet...), but I have really slow internet. haha

Omg yeah, it's such a beast to download I swear it takes like 10 minutes or something.

Here is an example of one of the tilesheets that add the glass cases.

It is located in \Mods\Stardew Valley Expanded\[CP] Stardew Valley Expanded\assets\Tilesheets

Cute Pink also has a readme.txt which states:

this mod has a true / false feature, useful for other mods using the same assets but overwrites mine, or you want to use a specific asset only

- open "content" in notepad++
- to disable, replace "true" with "false"
- save!

Cute Valley doesn't edit any of the SVE tilesheets, though. Or the bits from townInterior that are under the cases. This is how it looks with both in my game:



🤔 The reason I had XNB mod vibes is that it reminded me of a problem an old XNB packer had where it would corrupt semi-transparent tiles and make them look screwed up in-game. Window lights was the most common... I'd wonder if there was some similar layering weirdness happening, except removing Cute Valley fixed it for you/them :D
