You go to bed to sleep. While your eyes were closed, a strange capsule have fallen in your farm. A detailed observation reveals something inside the capsule, it looks like a unknown form of life. You decide to keep the capsule safe of worrying what ifs. The days pass and you get surprised, the amorphous thing of meat has grown up, breaking the capsule cristal in the process: is an alien!
Mayor Lewis allows you to name this new citizen. Despite his young age, the alien is extremely inteligent, being able to understand humans and dwarfs languages. But its time to decision: the alien felt grateful at you for nurse him when he was in the capsule; because of that, he want to help you with the farm work. Will you allow the alien child to help you, or better you send him to study with Penny at the library as a good kid?
If you finally choose him to help you in the farm, he will improve the quality of animal and vegetal products with his alien powers (the alien brights with a radioactive light), carry some objects when the inventary is at full capacity, fight with you in dungeons and scare out the witch when she flyes above the farm. He need an aditional house to live in.
In the other option, the alien lives with Demetrius, who checks him daily for writing a thesis. Some days he's able to hang out with Linus for clean the valley, and others advice Maru on building new artifacts.
The alien can wait until Robin builds a house in the farm.

I don't request the inclusion of all the description, but instead, the comunity will be satisfied if ConcernedApe take inspiration from here. The alien easter egg in the title screen (unless it was a reference to LMAO meme), the capsule mentioned in the post and the inusual fall of meteorites makes sense in introducing an alien contact event.
