You do not need a Slime Hutch for 100% Perfection. People that feel like they need build everything for the sake of completeness will build one, though.

You sure about that? I've gotten the Craft Master achievement 4 times and I've achieved 100% Perfection twice... and I have never purchased a Slime Hutch.

I think your right I thought he gave you the incubator recipe but it was just the slime first free slime egg

Oops, sorry for the confusing wording! You don't need one for perfection, no - I just like having all the things. I was referring to my general completionist tendencies, not the in-game 100% completion. So basically, what imvns said.

I've never built a slime hutch on any of my farms so far, but I do plan on giving it a try eventually. I've never seen a point to building one on my farm because I get all the slime I need for crafting while I'm out hunting (especially when wearing a burglar ring), and it's never seemed like a big money maker.
