PC [BUG] No Library Books in 4 years

Hello, I was hoping someone could help me. I'm in Year 5 of my current game. I collected 16 books in Year 1 but have found none ever since. I go everwhere, never miss an opportunity to break out the hoe on the wiggly wormsticks but I never ever get any books. Bug? Bad luck? Does this affect my Perfection? (I'm assuming yes). Has anyone had this same experience?

Thank you for that... do you think it's a bug? Or have you heard of this before?

I may have the same issue. Haven't found a book for a long time, and don't know how many there are in total.

I read on the wiki that if you have found all of the library books, you will dig up “mixed seeds” instead of a book when you would have found a book. I believe I didn’t see any mixed seeds in wormy spots until I stopped seeing books, but it took me a while to realize they were connected so I can’t say for certain.
