Solved **HELP** Game Crashing After Marrying Jeric

HELP! I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to this sort of thing. The day I married Jeric from the Ridgeside Village mod, my game crashed when I went to sleep. I tried removing mods, updating them, and even went a day back. When I went to the day before, it worked fine when I went to sleep. I married him again and then that night, it crashed again. I can't seem to get passed that day. If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it!

Please upload your SMAPI log as per this link. It enables a lot more information than just the text file.

See post below for solution.

Other people are having this problem. I found This is from Ridgeside Village's FAQ

"I'm married or I'm going to marry Jeric, why is my game crashing when I sleep?"

We've accidentally created an infinite loop. We're so sorry!

To fix it change:
"marriage_Fri": "GOTO marriage_Fri"
to
"marriage_Fri": "GOTO marriage_Mon",
in
[CP] Ridgeside Village\assets\Schedules

Oh no! I was thinking that I was the only one that was having this issue. I am so sad because I was dating him in a multiplayer save that I have but I was playing my own game and put all of my effort into him in that one.

I did not see this! Thank you so much for the information. I am not the best at this so I am hoping I can figure it out and fix it. I will respond and let you all know if this works! :)

Thank you for taking the time to overlook it for me. I am going to try this solution out after work and hoping this will fix it :)

No problem.

If you're worried about editing the file yourself, well, I've done it for you 😁

1. Download the attached zip file.
2. Extract it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods\[CP] Ridgeside Village\assets\Schedules
3. It should ask if you want to overwrite the Jeric.json file. Confirm to overwrite it.

Good luck and don't hesitate to ask for help if you're stuck.

I could CRY right now! It worked. I was finally able to save and move to the next day! I can finally play my game again :happy: THANK YOU!!
