iOS [BUG] Ambiance sounds on stardew mobile version ?

I just noticed that there is no ambience sounds (birds chirping, crickets at night...) on the farm, forest, town (the town still have crickets but no birds chirping in day time), mountain...when i turned off the music (except for the sound of water when standing near rivers/stream and in the beach). I even reinstalled the game but its still the same. Is there a problem with ios version or with my phone? I’m using ipad air 3 ios 14.4, stardew 1.4

If there’s really a problem, I’ll send message to Erik on Twitter I’m so sad right now about this :((

Here the video to show it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw1tpDUOuAI

Oh, I have to embarrassingly admit that I tend to play with the sound off and a TV show running in the background. I can check for you Hanhnguyen, I have both iPad and iPhone. Is your game on version 1.4? Thanks for mentioning your iOS version, I'll go see, then if it is the same, I'll do a forum search too.

Edit: I get seagull sounds at the beach, and at the bus stop I get bird and insect sounds. No bird or insect sounds in town for e.g., either but I generally assume the sounds available are tied to areas and are less here due to not being in lush areas perhaps? I tend to hear them where they can be often spotted and don't where they aren't. I'd expect to hear more insects and birds outside a town or some areas than others? I'm on version 14.4.2 And that's on my iPad (6), so seems to work fine for my game and I just kinda guessed it was intended this way.

I'm a noob though, so perhaps one of the more experienced community members can clarify if this is indeed intended or not. In the meantime wasn't able to find anything in forum or wiki to clarify about this, though on a fandom non-official wiki fan clone site I did a tiny bit of info that birds tend to be spottable at certain times and areas. Still, this is just guessing on my part. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Thanks for reply, yes I’m playing on stardew 1.4 on ios. First i thought that how the game work but when i checked pc version is completely different.
They have ambience sounds on the farm, in day is a chirping sound and night is a crickets. This is also in the all the map while the music is off, example forest, mountain, town...But in my game is silence except for river/stream sounds, and the town during the night after 6:00 pm, and the beach too. That’s all the sound i get :((
I do recorded a video to show it but I can’t post in here.

Oh, interesting, that's good to know. I had no idea, so I'm glad you mentioned it!
If it appears on PC but not on iOS, I too would suspect it may be a bug, or maybe a platform-specific difference/limitation?... But considering I'm a very green newcomer, and still getting oriented I wouldn't know for sure. I'm peeking through the Help & Bugs forum now to see if there's anything related in the sticky threads or recent posts.

Maybe a friendly neighbourhood moderator could (pretty please) move this thread to that forum if they think it is a bug?

Sounds like it would be strange to play from one device to the other and have a different ambient experience. Since you're on iOS for the affected game, no mods for iOS it sounds like, so that should be a non-issue.

I can confirm I also get eerie silence on Android when I turn off the music.

No idea what it's like on PC because I usually play without sounds.
