I tried a couple of times at level 10 and using a trap bobber and didn't even come close to catching it. I started making seafoam pudding and even eating that before I fished for it I lost him several times, maybe around 4 times. I am the first to admit I am probably only average at fishing, and depend on the rod attachments and food buffs on the tougher fish to catch. I only need the fish at ginger island to complete master angler, and heading there next. When I first started fishing I couldn't catch a bream, lol.
