Switch [BUG] Legendary fish disappeared from fish tank

I have a fish tank with a legendary fish (crimson) and 3 other stuff. I caught an angler and put it on the same tank (which had 4 items) I didn't realize that at the time that this might happen, just let me throw the fish in, great, I saw the 2 legendary fishes with some algae and stuff. But, on the next day, the angler disappeared (I still have when I access my fishes collection) so...I guess I've lost it for good? Since it supposed to appear only once per save file?

I tried removing an item to check if magically will appear again, but no.

Any ideas? sounds like a bug.

Hahaha, nope, dog person. But, I'm thinking on fishing it with the farmhands character, Buuut, I read that these are 1 per savefile, so...I'm done. At least with the regulars, legendaries II are different: https://forums.stardewvalley.net/th...-of-the-same-legendary-fish-in-one-save.5077/

Anyways, will give it a try to catch the angler again, I hope they fix this or I can get it in some other way.

Yes, the legendary fish are 1 per file, but really they are 1 per character on that file. Farmhands can also catch the legendary fish.

And yes, the extended family have no limits beyond that they can only be caught when the quest is active.

Translation: hire slaves to catch extremely hard fish for you to make up for your loss.

Haha, thanks everybody! I could catch it with my GF's character. She was at level 5 of fishing, ate a fish stew and I got it on the second try (I think that it appeared twice on 12/14 throws), so it was super easy.

In deed, gave it a few tries to glacier IIRC, and couldn't do it, haha.
