Statue of Endless Fortune not giving Iridium

Hi, I decided to save up and buy a Statue of Endless Fortune to gain Iridium bars instead of slogging through the Skull Caverns.
So I am at Fall of Year 3 with this thing in my living room, and so far out of about 6 drops, no iridium. Is there a higher level required or maybe another event that triggers Iridium drops, like say a minimum year amount, or some thing I did not do?

No, nothing special that you need. However, the chance of no iridium in 6 drops is not really that low. Depending which 6 days it was, there was at least one birthday, possibly two. On a birthday you will always get a loved gift for that person. So there were actually only 5 or less drops that could have given iridium. There's a 3/4 chance each day of not getting iridium, so the probability of not getting an iridium bar 5 times in a row is (3/4)^5 = 23.7%, or about 1/4.

So, no, nothing you're doing wrong, you just got a little unlucky.

As Elenna mentioned, it seems you've just been a bit unlucky. However, the Statue of Endless Fortune isn't your best option for iridium at that point in the game. I would recommend instead focusing on the Statue of Perfection, which unlocks after you earn 4 candles on Grandpa's Shine. See https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Grandpa#Grandpa.27s_Evaluation on how to unlock that.
