Control problems

I’m not even sure if I have the right stuff for this . I’m playing with an iPhone SE 2020 and bought a Backbone One to “make it easier “. Not much of a game player and never used a controller before. With those limitations - how do I press “Esc” for the crafting menu/instructions? I erased my first attempt when I couldn’t make the “finger control” work. Please help???


Hi. Just posted this here because I probably necroed another thread. Anyway, this isn’t a bug report - it’s more of a personal problem, lol. I love the game but would love it even more if my imagination hadn’t gone south after I turned 70. Google is not my friend, which is why I’m asking here!

Honestly this is going to depend on the controller- it could be one of the A/B/X/Y buttons, or it could be one of the smaller ones. I recommend just opening up your save and trying out what all the different buttons are for. If you mess something up, you can just restart that one day.

OK. I’m kinda chalking it up to being 74 and very little “gaming” experience - especially on a cell phone. I’m already retiring the “Bone Breaker” or whatever. So irritated with my inability to get any kind of reaction in the CC room that I went the Joja route. Now I can’t finding an Auto-Petter to buy, even after paying for a movie theater.

Ah, this is because the Auto-Petter was added in 1.5, and mobile is currently still on the 1.4 version. They're working on updating the mobile versions, and we'll announce when 1.5 is out for mobile.

Thank you for this! I too had just finished the Joja Mart hoping to get the auto-petter and discovered it not available, hit search and ended up here, and I too am playing on my iPad. Maybe I'll start a game in Linux

I'll have to take a look around to see if there's a schedule/ETA for this somewhere. Thanks for the reply Odin! The spoiler content flag should have been my clue to check in-game version, this is indeed a much wanted feature to help free up time on my farm, so meantime I'll stockpile some gold and hope it comes out soon.
