Secret Note 20 Spoilers please

I am not finding the arrows on the note at all helpful. I am on iOS and the simple straightforward video was no help. I have no sense of direction—can someone please help?

This is the "luck charm" note. If you're having problems, just go to the truck next to Joja (or car next to the theatre if you've completed the CC and unlocked it) and give the guy in it a rabbit's foot. The foot needs no quality.

The picture confuses me, to be honest. When you show up in town, Marnie tells you that Shane has been living with her "for a few months". Yet in the photograph Jas looks like a toddler, indicating that she's been with Marnie for years. I mean, I assumed that after Jas' parents died Shane took Jas and they moved into Marnie's house together.

Both Jas and Shane call Marnie their aunt, so they could be cousins.

My explanation: Marnie has an older sibling who is Shanes parent. Marnie had a much younger sister, who was the same age as Shane. They grew up very close, and she married Shanes best friend. So when she had Jas, she made Shane the godfather. When she and her husband died, Shane couldn't cope on his own and decided to move out the the country with Jas.
The photo shows either Jas and her Mom, who looks a lot like Marnie. Or it shows Marnie with her younger sister, who looks a lot like Jas.

I don't think there is any hard evidence, you'll just have to make your own head canon.

I suspect the toddler is Marnie, and the woman is her mother. Possibly as a bit of backstory.

As others have said, I don't think it is Marnie and Jas, and have always wondered about this note... because, to be very frank (because I'd hate to be barely harry), it is literally the only note that has no definitive purpose. Every note besides that one tells you a useful piece of information or gives you directions to get a reward of some sort. As far as anyone can tell, however, this note is basically just a bit of "fluff" with little explanation. Theories abound (as you can see in the other replies) of course.

If asked what theory I subscribe to? I lean towards believing it is Marnie's sister (note the family resemblance) with Jas.
