Creator Response Joja water shortage + upgraded hoe question

Hi,

In my last play through I was using an upgraded hoe to stack crops when I got the Joja water shortage notice stating, "When you take the Water action, only move 1 crop tile". It specifically states tile, so I thought maybe you only moved the top tile of your stack, but I know you usually cannot stack crops so then I thought maybe it means 1 slot of crops. Is it just a single tile when you use the Water action/

Yes, even in the case of stacks, you only move a single crop tile when watering while this Joja tile is active. And even though you have the Hoe, you cannot move a single watered crop INTO an occupied field. So this can restrict which crops are available to be moved towards harvest, or harvested, depending on what your fields look like.

I don't think I would have considered that, but it makes sense when you say it, I'm glad you mentioned that aspect.

Thanks for the clarification. I think I would have played wrong and placed a crop onto another as long as that space was not stacked to capacity.
