Switch [HELP] Can't Join Local Co-op

Yesterday my wife and I were playing local co-op with no issues. Later that night we went upstairs and started to have disconnect issues, so we switched to online co-op. Unfortunately, we encountered a lag buffer every 10 minutes or so. After that, we called it a night.

Today, we tried to play again with local co-op and the second player can no longer find the host locally. We can only play online and we keep having the lag buffer.

We just hosted our old save from a year ago and we were able to play locally just fine. Still can't play our current save locally.

We're both playing on 1.5.4

Having the same exact issue, although we haven't tried to go to an old save just yet. It's almost acting as if the save got converted to an online only farm since we could only ever get the farm to show in the online connection window after that. Hoping that isn't a thing because the online lag/freezing is worse than the local connection lag/freezing.

We did manage to get the farm to play on Split Screen. So it appears to only be the Local Co-op that doesn't want to work.

Same issue here. My friend and I started a farm 2 nights ago and played Local just fine. Last night he tried hosting the local farm again and it never showed up on the list for me even after refreshing. He had to host it online after that.

It sounds like you never played online before you had issues playing locally? We thought it happened because we went online and then tried to play locally again.

Well we started our farm and played online for a bit because we didn't really realize there was a local option. Then we switched to local and played the rest of the night after that. Then last night we were ready to continue on local and we found that I couldn't see the farm in the list so we had to play online.

We ended up deleting our save because nothing we did could get the farm to show up via local connection anymore. Started an new farm locally and it works perfectly. It's a good thing we were only a week into the game, but seems a shame to have to start over regardless.

Glad it is working for you now. We are much farther into our farm to the point where if we were to start over then we would just quit. So I am hoping there will be a fix for this soon.
