Cannot place bed

Put down new wood floor and i cannot replace the original bed this is in a multiplayer game my friends host. tried pulling up the floor and placing it back on the orginal flooring but could not place it down still.

Please make sure you use 1.5. Try to sit on a chair.

I am having this issue on Xbox where I cannot place anything down where I have set my flooring.
