PC [BUG] Workbench is unable to use items in adjacent (1.5 Spoiler) Chest

The Workbench currently cannot see items within an adjacent Junimo Chest. I've tested with multiple types of items, and it always registers as having 0 of that item available. I am playing on PC on version 1.5.3.

Well, first, you can update to 1.5.4.

Second, you might want to edit your thread title to include something about 1.5 spoilers.

Third, this may be intentional.

Finally, I'm not sure I'd ever consider using a junimo chest for holding crafting ingredients. The space inside is so limited. I use it primarily for stowing stuff I'll want elsewhere but want out of my inventory now.

Thanks for the reply - I updated the title.

Updated to 1.5.4 as well and the issue persists.

People play Stardew in lots of different ways, so may want to keep items that can be used in crafting recipes in the Junimo chest. So this either is a bug, or needs clarification, like how we are told that we can't put a Prismatic Shard in a Crystalarium.
