PC [BUG] My Wild Plum is still categorized as 'Forage'

I played this game again recently, after not playing it since 2019 (i forgot exactly the date, but the last achievement i got is on july 2019). i have old regular wild plum before i got botanist profession, and today when i want to put it in keg, i can't do it because it's still categorized as 'Forage'

i read on stardew valley wiki that since update 1.1, wild plum is categorized as 'Fruit'. i already update my game to latest version (1.5.4) but it's still categorized as 'Forage'

i played it on PC (Steam). i never change the language (always use english). and the game is in single-player mode, without any mod

i can't get the new one (it's still winter in my game), and all of my 'Fruit' labeled wild plum are already processed into wine

Well, I think what Ereo was getting to and what I'd suggest is adding them to a stack of ones labelled "fruit" (if possible) and see if that fixes it. (Stacking foraged fruit with non-foraged results in them all becoming non-foraged.) Sadly you'll have to wait until Fall to try that.

My idea was that the label is determined when you find it, so anything you found before the update will keep the old label. As long as newly found one are fruit, I would probably just sell the forage and not worry about it.

ahh okay, will try that (if i can remember it lol), but i must change my profession first (i have botanist profession), inconvenience but oh well

update:

i'm in fall, but i'm too lazy to change profession so i tried something

i put all of my wild plum into chest, it still `forage`, then i pick only ONE wild plum and it automatically placed into my bag

guess what?? it says `fruit`!

then i tried to put one from the bag back into the chest, but then it merged into one stack and it still `forage`

then i pick only one wild plum from the chest, after that i pick all the remaining wild plum from the chest into the bag

and now, all of them is `fruit`

can't show the SS because i'm too excited that i convert all of them to `fruit`
