Who is this mysterious David my wife keeps telling me about? Has she had a child with another man? Why can she not call our little daughter by her name, Swee Pea?

As much as I care for my purple-haired bride, I am hard-pressed to keep my suspicions in check. Perhaps a visit to Dr. Harvey is the next step...

I talk to her on the porch a lot, but I'll have to expand my range of conversation with her. Thanks for the family tips! Appointments with the doctor and lawyer were never actually scheduled and now it seems they don't have to be.

Final follow-up: Aha! Once we had the second child, Abigail couldn't stop talking about them. I'm still not convinced she would have chosen Swee Pea over David, but now that there's two pumpkins, she's definitely more two-legged centric. All's well that ends well in this ol' farmer's home...
