My name is Kendra Everly, and I’m happy to be here and become part of this community! I’m a finance writer and eBook writer with over 8 years of experience in writing and creating content. I enjoy learning new things, exploring different interests, and connecting with people who have different experiences and perspectives.

Outside of my writing work, I appreciate relaxing activities and communities where people can share their interests, stories, and ideas. Stardew Valley seems like such a cozy and welcoming game, and I’m glad to have found a place where fans can come together and talk about what they enjoy.

Nice to meet another writer. I had the misfortune to be attacked by inspiration for a fanfic, and it's been keeping me from working on my other novels. Darn plot bunnies. I've got a series problem, or five, with them. As in, most stuff I get inspiration for turns into a series.

Thank you! Nice to meet you too! It sounds like your imagination keeps you pretty busy with all those story ideas. Sometimes a new idea is just too exciting to leave alone, even when you have other projects waiting. I can imagine how easily one story can turn into an entire series when the characters and plot keep developing. What kind of fanfiction are you working on at the moment? What kind of fanfiction are you working on at the moment? I'd love to hear more about it!

A Stardew Valley fanfic, based on my latest save file, with some liberties taken for the sake of plot. Hill-top farm map, remixed bundles, goal of 1 billion G earned. Pantsing the story around the facts of the save rather than plotting it, but I pants close enough to the Save The Cat plotting method to use it to describe where I am in the story.

First novel of it is published in the Fan Works forum here, with Hardship Farm Diaries being the series. Handing over the first publishing rights where they belong, so to speak. Then I figured that the individual books might as well be named after the main antagonist of that book. So, first book, lasting Spring and Summer of year 1 is The Wizard. The initiating incident was given, then I had to invent the rest of the plot for it, including the final confrontation.

Second will be Joja, where I'm approaching the mid-point (false victory) and covers the time from beginning of Fall to a few days into Spring year 2. Here, the ending is given, and I've had to invent the initiating incident and give Joja a bit more active opposition.
