Switch Ectoplasm Forever

[Hedhogthe3rd]

I just completed a curious substance and gave the wizard ectoplasm but I still have the ectoplasm in my inventory because I picked up 2. The wiki says it should disappear when I give it to the wizard but it didn’t. Do I just have ectoplasm now to feed to my cows and make super cows or something?

It’ll go away overnight. This can happen when you have the burglar ring. The wizard only takes one.

Happened to me, too, in one of my saves. The second one disappears over night. I was told to put it on a sign to keep the memory of it. So I did. But you should place this sign somewhere out of daily reach, so you don't accidently put something else on it.
