and when is the reindeer day?

Reindeer Day, also known as Reindeer Herders’ Day, is a traditional holiday in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Komi Republic. It was first observed in 1932 and marks the transition of the herds from summer to winter pastures—a crucial phase in reindeer herding. Since 1985, it has been officially celebrated on August 2, Iljin Day.
