Solved [BUG] enchantment bug

i noticed there is a bug on pc with weapon enchantments where the only two i get are 'bugkiller' and 'haymaker' and noticed a dark sword i had stashed in a chest had a different enchantment already on it so i know there are more than just those two. maybe i am cursed but i thought this was worth posting on here anyway

That is happening to me too !!!! i hope they fix this

I tried enchanting with and without mods and got all iterations listed on the wiki. However I'm not sure if all have equal or different chances, some appeared more often then others but my sample size is probably way too low for that. So, have you verificated your game data and/our are you using mods?

im not using mods, i dont even know how that is done XD im just play stardew normal

Ah, and just to be sure. You aren't reloading your game every time when you don't get the desired enchants? If you do you will get the same results every time, then that is no bug but expected behaviour.

I have not seen what you've seen. I only enchanted my weapon once and got Vampiric. The wife enchanted two weapons, one Crusader and the other Vampiric. You have to keep trying occasionally in order to get other results, it seems.

i tried just now and it keep giving me bug killer and haymaker... i even tried spending a lot of shards in 2 different days , and always come bug killer or haymaker... tried that until run out of shards... always the same :( ... idk if its just unluck ... but it sure looks like a bug :sweat: i want the vampiric :''c
i guess i just keep trying...?

Maybe I should point out that the predictor I mentioned here is not updated to account for 1.5.2 changes, and they explicitly mention they may get rid of the enchantment section given that, being now dependent of the enchanting history of the target tool, is now substantially more complicated to show the correct predictions in a user-friendly way.
The version 1.5.2 patch changed the mechanics to exclude the last two enchantments on an item from the possible results rather than just the current enchantment. The predictor has not yet been updated for this change and it might be complicated enough that enchantment predictions wind up being removed in a later version.
