Red like a ceremonious dying dove.
Roses smell sweet,
Roses are picky about the heat,
Roses are not good to eat.
Roses are prim,
Roses are fancy,
Roses don't have skin,
Roses aren't what ants eat.
Roses made this poem long,
It would be funny if this poem became a song.
Roses aren't sentient,
Roses aren't smart,
But when Roses are gifted,
It can steal someone's heart.
Roses bring many thoughts to mind,
But only one comes to me,
That thought must be...
Hayfever.
