i am in a dilemma; i want to both marry Abigail and Krobus in my current save, but i can't choose. then i got this idea: i'm gonna marry Abigail in my farmhouse, and then have another player join in, get max hearts with Krobus and then get him as roommate in the farmhand's house. then the other player leaves and boom: i have Krobus living in his own house on my farm, just like if he was a friend of mine (and then i still get to marry Abigail hehe )

Maybe there's a mod that would allow more? EDIT: As in cabins on your farm, not how many players playing at a time. Or maybe be a pioneer again and make that mod.

There is a mod that allows the player to marry multiple people, so the cabin workaround would only be necessary if playing on console where mods aren't possible but where you can play co-op.

I had this question in another thread a while ago and this is, what @BakaDomERA answered me:

So I upgraded my house to the furthest extent before marriage as that is personal preference.
So yes it is, but as you can see it added the rooms beside each other just off of my bedroom. And yes I plan on marrying all my favorite bachelors! At least this way my head cannon relationships between them can happen, as with this mod they love not just me but each other. Smooches for everyone!!!!
And for their spouse patios that is a separate mod as well!
