Several days in rapid succession:
Monday was a heavy harvest day, with what felt like 3/4 of the plants all needing something - and the tea plants finally ready for gathering besides. Also lots and lots of potatoes and speed-gro, parsnips with quality-boosting fertilizer, and some other short-growth plants to fill in freshly empties spots. Rowan decided what they really really needed was a shipping bin next to the actual field, instead of waaay up at the top of the farm by the cabin. Which meant, well, having just asked Robin for some hefty construction, they had 17 wood in storage. So despite their initial plan being to get to the mines, they ended the day chopping some more wood.
Tuesday rained, which did help abbreviate the farm chores, but they paused to fish a river in hopes of some river jelly (The midnight carp in their pond kept asking, the farm streams were too brine-laced and used by the ocean fish, but with the minecart network fixed, they had new access to a secret meadow with its own river, and no other humans to scare them off.) No luck with river jelly but at least they got a decent catch. It was this latter which led to them being late into the mine; they got a bunch of gold and a tiny bit of coal but had to run back out yet again.
Wednesday they decided to sneak to the beach and fish instead of fishing at their own docks, aware that almost everyone from town would be off at the flower dance. Mostly, they wanted to see if they had any significant difference in catch between the two spots.* The change of scenery was nice, but they warped back unseen, despite pausing at the bulletin board to grab their red tickets (and apparently an easy to complete quest!) and slip into the mayor's empty house to grab the actual prizes before they remembered they had a totem on hand. And they remembered to refill the bird feeders, which gave them the chance to smile at their little friends.
Thursday, they shipped their last potatoes for the bulletin board request, along with a massive load of peas, beans and coffee beans. They eyed the chest full of coffee beans, and also added one more keg to their modest machine area. There was no way they'd be keeping up with the sheer number of coffee beans growing, even accounting for processing through fall and winter. Not if they wanted to do anything else around the farm. So they sold the freshest ones straight.
Thursday was also the day they finally remembered to hand in the next few bundle items for the soot sprite who hid in the cave*, upgrading their tools through some strange magical process. They still needed another cave carrot before they could get a better hoe, and they were sadly low on actual ore, which, unsurprisingly, was a key ingredient for every single tool. Ah well, nobody said magic was *cheaper or easier than the blacksmith's fees, and anyone who didn't really understand just how little Rowan liked to talk to others would probably have just told them to go to Clint in the first place.
Also on Thursday, while chopping a tree... a shirt fell out of it. It was wrapped in a ribbon the same colour as the mystery boxes, a ribbon which seemed to cruble to dust as soon as it was untied. Maybe this explained why the shirt was a similar style to the one Rowan wore most habitually, and a similar colour, and happened to be just their size. And was lighter weight for the upcoming hot weather.
Who exactly was this person who dropped boxes everywhere and random mysterious gifts? Some of the villagers also found some of the mystery boxes; Rowan had overheard Abigail swearing to her dad that she'd seen a blue-skinned man in a big hat go by once in a plane, and scatter them. (Pierre had pooh-poohed this, saying Harvey would know if there was a plane in the vicinity.)
Friday, Rowan received a mini-shipping bin in the mail as thanks for all the potatoes. They suspected it wouldn't be nearly enough for their crop range - and would be proven right - but it was definitely a start. Maybe they'd run out of backpack space while harvesting *slightly* less quickly.
Friday they focused on collecting crops and on chopping the spare trees, since they wouldn't be doing so as much on Saturday when they meant to go to the mountain lake. And, they realised belatedly, they should really check out the quarry this time.
On Saturday, they started, reluctantly, in town, walking up, dropping the pile of gems from Emily's billboard request in her hands, to her great pleasure. They added a flower just for her on top, and were, reluctantly, pleased to learn they'd just inadvertently managed to hand her a birthday gift, not just a general nice gesture. IT was... it felt kind of nice to accidentally make someone a bit happier instead of annoying them, but they still didn't know how to process it. So after giving the nice elderly gardener another pretty flower, they fled to the lake via a minecart to the quarry; there was no room to move outside the one narrow path. But a few bombs cleared up a good mass of things, including enough gems to more than make up for Emily's handful.
And they'd never been told the quarry contained its own seams of coal ***, ending up with more than enough to breathe easy on that front for the first time in a while. They opted not to spend their energy longer in the quarry than that, as if they chopped all the trees as well, they wouldn't have room for the fish they were planning to reel in.
And along with a nice range of fish, at last, at last, they got that damn river jelly for the midnight carp pond.
Sunday was the end of the month, and the harvest EVERYTHING day. Rowan had lucked out, and came to the field to a final burst of strawberries, AND beans, AND coffee beans (okay that last was hardly a surprise), plus lentils and peas. And, reluctantly, they pulled the flowers in front of the bee hutches; everything that wasn't marked for spring AND summer. Yeah, the mini-shipping bin wasn't going to do the trick all by itself. They also moved the seeds from spring back to the house and brought down the summer seeds, ready for the next day. Summer was on its way...
* There's often a higher percentage of trash at the farm even on ConcernedApe's own designs, and the fishing on this one seemed to be set up a bit wonky, not doing what the actual mod-maker tried to get it to do. So this was me doing a test. Seemed to pass, though.

*** Translation, Lenora, not Rowan, forgot this key detail about the quarry entirely.
