Is it normal for things to disappear?

I bought a shed at one point and I made a basic sprinkler. After a little while, they both disappeared. Is that normal?

I didn't get around to putting anything in the shed and the sprinkler didn't seem to be working. Still, I should still have them, right?

I'm playing on an iPad and am super new to gaming in general.

Sheds shouldn't just disappear.

Sprinklers, on the other hand, can be destroyed by weeds. If weeds and other debris destroys a sprinkler, paving, or something, you should wake up to a message that some damage has been caused on your farm.

Could you have loaded an earlier save? I know mobile lets you do some weird things with save states. The game was originally designed to only save at night, so some glitches are possible.

It took me a while to notice that the shed was gone, so I suppose it could've been a save issue. I usually get to bed, let it save, and then kill the app, so I've saved at the end of the day, but not always. I'll have to pay more attention.

I thought I'd been doing a good job of clearing weeds, but I suppose that could've caused the problem with the sprinkler. As I said, it seemed like the sprinkler wasn't working. I guess I'll be more careful with my next sprinkler and maybe establish some walkways before I start in the spring again (I'm in fall of the first year).

At least it wasn't an expensive loss, compared to a shed.

if you didn't save your game file before closing out then they they would disappear, but if you were just playing like normal and it went away, that shouldn't happen.

Could also happen if they accidentally pressed "switch to previous save" instead of "exit to title" before closing the app on the day they bought the cabin.

hi buildings never disappear through game mechanics. but placed objects in the farm like sprinklers or floors can be destroyed by lightning sometimes
you can build lightning rods to prevent this (they are also very important for battery packs later on)
they're unlocked at level 6 foraging, just place a few anywhere on ur farm and they'll do their thing !!

There is a bug on the mobile version that can make a building disappear while moving it if you place it a certain way. Pay attention when you're moving them, and if something disappears, make sure to restart the day.
