1.6 Update What happened in your game today?

Sebastian brought up wanting to raise slimes and I realized that if I hired Robin to build a slime hutch the next day, it would be done on his birthay. So Farmer Tim did that and is going to make a little fenced cemetary in front of it. Thus continuing the completely unplanned habit of Farmer Tim being the most romantic of all my farmers
That's a really romantic gesture, yeah, unfortunately Seb won't even recognize or comment that you have a Slime hutch on your farm. but you can always imagine he does... 🤷🏻‍♀️

Traded out the last stack of diamonds. Goal reached. 17/17 stacks traded for bigger value. Well, actually I've traded out 21 stacks. Two mayo stacks became diamond stacks. One diamond stack became a stack of pickled purple mushrooms. Pickled purple mushrooms became a stack of pickled pumpkins.

Now to see if I can trade out the two pineapple jelly stacks too before year 9 ends. If not, they're on the list of trade-outs for year 10. It's almost time for the Night Market, so there's not that much time left.

Today Pam sent me a battery pack she found in a drawer. She followed it up with a letter asking whether I had any spare battery packs... :hmph:
Imagining Pam's side of that letter combination is hilarious. *sends battery pack* *realizes why it was in the drawer and that she can't get the sent letter back, panics* *sends additional letter to try to cover up her screw-up*

Or one could pretend that she sent an AA battery and that she needed an AAA battery.

caught his first prismatic butterfly!
I've never been able to even find one, I guess it doesn't like me. Probably because of one time I used butterfly powder when testing a mod...

Or maybe she gave you the dead battery and is asking for a charged one 😜
Pam just cares about the enviroment so instead of throwing batteries into regular trash she sends them to us to recycle. We do have recycling machines, she just doesn't know they don't accept battery packs.

Had the time to only play one day yesterday. A bit of stradew is better than no stardew!
Went through my journal and completed every quest I could. Marnie's cows will have to wait for amaranth though, usually I have it in my first autumn but not this time and it's only winter. Usually I gift Clint amethysts, but now he recieved an emerald because an amethyst would remind him about the one he asked me to give Emily and I don't want him asking how that went (he doesn't actually do that in-game, but yk).
Also noticed that money rewards for those quests aren't affected by profit margin settings, while the ones from the special orders board are.
Spent the rest of the day fishing in the mountain lake. Got a few treasure chests, but the contents of none of them were as crazy as some of the earlier ones. Can't have endless luck I guess.

Sounds about right for Pam.

I missed Robin's birthday - I had her gift all ready, but she was standing in the middle of a fish pond she was building for me, so I couldn't reach her.
I'll just have to give her some peaches later this week.

I'm once again filling my farm with fish ponds. I just like them... And the beach farm is a pain for farming, I keep forgetting to check my crops because they're so far off...

Reached year 10, and had an end-of-year sale of over 15 million, making the official earnings averaging just under 8 million per year. If adding what I've got in the stack chest, the average earnings are at 33 million per year. Last year that average was just 30 million. (I also have more hidden away from me, like making a chest for diamonds, and leaving all the iridium quality gold eggs in the coops)

Goal for year 10 will be to switch out all stacks worth under 1.5 million, with a stretch goal of all stacks under 2 million. Also switching out one stack of starfruit wine and replacing it with iridium quality starfruit wine. Maybe I shouldn't have put the cellar "material" in the stack chest, but whatever.

I admit that I quite like doing math like this.
