Participated in the Luau. Had to restart the day two times because I was out-of-my-mind tired and made mistakes, like forgetting about it or picking an unintended ingredient for the soup.
Starting to consider getting rid of the ostrich barn and building a coop there instead. Of course keeping an egg or two so I can get them back without having to rely on having luck with the treasure chests in the volcano.

At least the first year or two. I'm on year 9, so for me it's more a matter of just picking something I've got stored. I've maxed out on friendship with everyone too, so it's not like I need to get the best reaction, even if I want to just for the sake of it.

Today in my game I found my 50th frozen tear (well, actually, I also found 51, 52, 53 and 54). I think the game is steering me towards a specific candidate to marry this time? I mean, 54 frozen tears, and Linus sent me sashimi in the mail twice... I'm sure it's a hint. LOL!!

I keep my milk over in the barn, and tend to turn the better quality milk into cheese first. If I need to use milk for cooking, I feel less like I'm wasting something valuable if I use silver quality milk. My crop chest stands close to the front door of the farmhouse, so the crops are close at hand. Used a gold quality red cabbage this year, just because.

A lot had happened because I still played while being off from here. Can't recall everything, but I've been fishing a lot for money, bought the fish smoker recipe and made two of them. Caught all the mines fish, participated in the squid fest, getting way more squids than required just cause I could.
The two of my chickens are adults now, I was lucky to get both white and brown eggs from the traveling cart to incubate. Now that they're laying eggs I could get more hens but I'd rather not.
Obtained the copper pan. I love panning and upgrading it but I won't have the money for that anytime soon.

That sounds really weird.
I was also at the desert festival, and I managed to get to floor 30, which netted me the eggs from Marlon *and* the money from Mr Qi. Also hit a dinosaur floor on the way down and got two skeleton parts for Gunther.
I got 25 gold-star veggies for Pierre. Now I guess I'll have to face the smug you-know-what trying to scam the townspeople with them. Might as well get that over with, I can bring him some of the sashimi I made for Sebastian, since he apparently has cravings... LOL!!
I currently only have combat to level up. I'm doing duggies and green slime to get some monster slaying goals out of the way, but that's not doing much for my XP.

Oh, yeah, Combat is usually also my last skill to fulfill, it always feels like a pretty high gap between Level 9 and 10, but Desert Festival is often helpful to reach it with all these mummys and serpents...

Fall began. Of the 17 stacks I wanted to trade out of my stack chest, I'm 11 down, 8 to go, because of unfortunate replacements.
Sold off the ostriches and destroyed the barn, building coop there instead, discontinuing my production of iridium and silver quality mayonnaise. I used a rain totem to make Robin available on a Tuesday. Also sold off my dino, of course making sure I have an egg in case I want to get one again, even if dino eggs are not that rare with access to the Skull Cavern.
