 Hello, my name is Ama, I'm new to Stardew Valley and this Forum. I got the game and played it a couple of times, then stopped for a bit until a couple of days ago. I have a lot of questions to ask. I would love to play with other people, but I'm not sure how to do that as I don't have an Xbox or any of that. All I got is my laptop that I play on. Anyways, if anyone has some tips or pointers that would be totally great! I'm all ears. Once again, thanks for helping a newbie.

Hello Ama and welcome to the forums! I hope you have a great time here! Honestly, my best tip is that you should play the game in a way that makes it fun for you. In the end, it's just a game and it's completely fine to change the way you play or take a break if you're not having fun.

Welcome to the SDV forums! :bchicken: Multiplayer is available on all platforms, or at least most as far as I'm aware. If you're on PC then I'm guessing you use Steam? If that's the case, whenever you're in a co-op farm, anyone on your Steam friends list should be able to join you, either by clicking your pfp and selecting "join", going to the "join" page of the co-op menu in SDV, or accepting an invite (which can be sent from the settings menu once you're in a farm)

Welcome! I am new to the SDV Forum too! Everyone is so nice and the most important thing is there is no wrong way to play! ❤

Welcome to the forums Ama! PC is actually probably the most convenient platform to play multiplayer on, due to it having the largest playerbase and easier troubleshooting in case something goes wrong.

There's a whole lfg portion of the forums to post or respond to other's play requests, so check there for people
