Slime breeding farm ideas

Slime can be bred on the farm and outside the slime hutch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0K9YCml7NI

Depending on their color, they will drop selected ore/mineral, so I'm thinking about use cases. White slimes for diamonds are just direct profit, but black slimes seem to be where it's at with coal drops. Large quantities of coal could be used in fish smokers to smoke a lot of fish, wherever targeted bait or going high volume with wild and challenge bait (and for bee houses, preserve jars... absurd amount of bee houses?)

Purple slimes can drop iridium, but not with 100% rate, while still decent. Gold/iron/copper ore isn't an issue, but you may as well have big batches of slimes and then mass craft bombs as needed.

You could make a bunch of slime corrals outside and breed/cultivate specific colors in each one. Use the slime hutch to get a ton of slime and keep pressing slime eggs to get your starters (and unlock slime egg drops for the Tiger Slimes to get the white ones).

I believe the coal drop is just a single one, and properly bred diamond slimes are also 100% likely to drop a diamond, so you're either getting a piece of coal with a buy value of 250g or a diamond with a sell value of 750/974g that can buy a minimum of 3 coal per slime kill.

Any changes to drop chances (or rerolling drops, i.e. burglar) will also affect both equally because of that, so that doesn't really factor into it

Assuming you have to choose one slime over the other.
