I opened the community center tab in my inventory. I went into a bundle to see if I could place an object (I'm new to the game) when I picked up the object a nearby object popped into my inventory and wouldn't let me do anything except move objects around in my inventory (because I had an object in my hand with a full inventory and no way to dispose of anything while in the bundle tab). I couldn't leave the menu at all and had to shut down my game and start the day over to fix it.
