Quality Bobber

Has anyone actually gotten their fish iridium (non perfect catch) by this tackle? So far, all my catches are gold with this tackle. Does this simply mean that this tackle will not improve quality beyond gold and that only a perfect catch can net iridium?

Do you mean you have been having iridium fish from non-perfect catches without the bobber? I don't understand (but probably me - sorry!)

In that case I am really curious about how and where.

I was in the mountain lake just outside of the cave on that little square that juts out just to the right of the bridge, level 9 fishing (Fisher profession), iridium rod, normal bait, cork bobber, casting out to just a little bit under a perfect cast.

I really wasn't doing anything special.

That's interesting, though. I've never had an iridium fish from a non-perfect catch. I auumed it wasn't possible.
