Which bachelor should I go for?

Clint is a little strange, but that doesn't mean the choice to add him as a marriage candidate was strange. I think out of the pool of single non-marriage candidates left, he's the one that makes the most sense

If you are really struggling and don’t really want to marry any of the npcs, you can always have Krobus as a roommate. He makes a great companion and is very sweet and generous to you. But you can’t have kids with him which I don’t know if you wanted a family.

I always go with Harvey. I’m middle aged and so he seems the oldest and he has the characteristics of my irl husband. He’s also a great father and househusband. However there are bugs on mobile where on clinic days he disappears sometimes. I’ve checked everywhere and he’s gone. I just pretend he’s too exhausted to walk back to the farm on clinic days so he stays overnight there.

Haha. I can't really give any advice on the bachelors, because I've never gone for any. In all my save files I pursued the bachelorettes, but I have seen all their heart events online

Sebastian! He's easy to romance once you get to the frozen levels of the mines, you can gift him Frozen Tears (loved item). Or he likes every gem. He also loves Sashimi, which you can get the recipe from Linus at 3 hearts and cook it with the cookout kit which you can craft after you reach forage level 3. Sebastian also likes vegetables, so if you don't have gems or Sashimi, you can easily gift him some cheap vegetables like Carrots or Parsnips in Spring.

Choose whichever you like. Feels like Shane is the easiest to romance mechanically since his birthday is pretty early and you could end up maxing out his hearts since he is always at the Saloon. A couple of Help Wanted Requests + Beer on his birthday + Flower Dance and you can probably marry him before Fall.

Alex tbh is probably the one other candidate I consider romancing since he is often in Town Square. You could get a ton of passive heart points from him through that alone. Only issue is his gifts are a bit more stingy, so it’s not as fast as Shane.

Sebastian, Sam and Harvey feel like they suffer from awkward availability and even more awkward gift options, meaning they are kinda slow to grow for hearts.

Elliot just lives so far out and has extremely stingy gift selection.

Keep in my these are all just my opinions. I never really romanced the bachelors so that this with a grain of salt.
