What are your personal book recommendations to someone who has never read a book? I have never read a physical book for fun only academic ones. Preferably stuff that is around 200-300 pages and not too difficult to read. I don't like romance or drama but any other genre is fine. Preferably sci-fi or adventure. Also the book must be popular since the obscure ones really aren't available here.

Well then maybe e-books could be better for you? More variety than a bookstore?

“One of us is lying” it’s takes place in a school but it jumps between POVS as the students try to figure out what happened to Simon, “

“a good girls guide to murder” it’s hard to explain without spoiling but trust me it’s a good book

“I want to eat your pancreas“ I know this book seems like a romance but it’s more then that, a girl named Sakura has a terminal condition she then starts spending time with one of her classmates who then falls for her, the book is heartbreaking and ends with a BIG twist, there’s a movie adaptation but I haven’t seen it and a short sequal to the book called “ To My Father and to Someone in My Memories”

Also I just realized I recommend a sort of romance book, but trust me it’s also a bittersweet coming of age book that also talks about death

A Good Girls Guide to Murder looks good. IWTEYP has been on my to-watch list but didn't know there was a novel!
