wow I thought the food was gonna be bad bc of the branding, was the restaurant a chain or a small business, and do you think it could have been a front for money laundering

It was a solo restaurant at first but I'm pretty sure there are two other locations now. It isn't a front and I think the owner doesn't know of the real Popeyes either. Also that this Popeyes is inspired by Popeyes the sailor instead of the restaurant.
