Farmer Bobbi had a dream about another land

She woke up in a little hut surrounded by strange buildings and textures, however it contained a fleeting resemblance to other places she visited in her dreams. Upon opening the doors to this new world, she found the most important thing of any prospective dream is

Wardrobe.

The previous versions of this dream contained a rather more limited clothing palette. No matter, there is survival and adventure to be had! Super exciting stuff like:

Hiding in a makeshift hovel until morning. No really, this will really get more exciting soon! Whether that happens before or after Bobbi wakes up is anyone's guess.

It's Hytale, made by Hypixel, who is a big (the biggest?) host of Minecraft server minigames. It's essentially a response to the slow development of Minecraft, making a new game with a similar voxel-based world structure but with a modern(ish) game engine underneath and a very large increase in built-in customization. Basically all the things they add to Minecraft to make their minigames, built in to a new game. It's still in early access and it's been in development hell for 7+ years.

Not really similar.

Many of the "artificial" things in Minecraft like mobs only spawning in darkness and cutting a tree at it's base with the rest continuing to remain suspended in mid-air are not present. To be fair, MC was first a creative building game so those elements are features, not problems. There are more and varied animals as well as biome-specific enemies. Behaviors of all are mostly intuitive (most animals run away, aggressive enemies and animals chase you but not very far). Blocking, parrying, charged weapons, special moves are more featured (by mobs, too) and animations for all are much better. The crafting tree is more complex and natural-feeling and has more dedicated tools to unlock, upgrade, and expand that tree. Again, that's all about MC being first a creative game whereas this is first an adventure game. There is more of a story and a series of quests but this is where the early access/unfinished part is most visible with lots of them marked as 'under construction'.

It very much feels like a Minecraft II. Not a v2.0 update, instead a new game which is the next in the series with everything reconsidered, reorganized and expanded, more well developed and detailed.
