Meadowlands Farm World seeds with lots of spring rain - 600 potatoe farm because why not...

With 1.6 rng, the 5th never rains I believe (the predictor is broken in this regard, when it says it'll rain on the 5th it's wrong, someone I know already messages mouseypounds abt it)

Someone in a technical community ran a check with seed finding software for literally every seed (not including 'shadow' seeds obviously which should operate all the same for rain), there are something like 5(?) 17 rainy day seeds and only the single lonely 18 day one
The game needs day 5 to be sunny because its when the community center opens you cant open it in the rain. Its got to be after day 4, sunny, and between 8-10 head to town vie the bus stop. This rain seed seems set to allow for this all.

That's not actually true, it's been possible for the whole game's history to be rainy on the 5th and you'd have to wait for a sunny day. You also don't have to watch the cc unlock cutscene as soon as it can happen on the 6th, as it requires you actually walking into town.

The current sunny 5th is a bug with the way that the game calculates weather patterns, a new addition in 1.6

Even better seed - 402232680 :) lots of spring/summer rain, witches, and stuff like that.
Looks crazy:

Also has a very early iridium bar, Y1 red cabbage ;)

5th won't be raining though.
XBOX PLAYERS BEWARE: I'm not sure if this is meant to be a troll post or if there's just different versions to blame. But on Xbox meadowland farms this seed gets no rain. It gets one day of rain in the spring and one day of rain in the summer. Probably the worst seed I've ever seen.

I tried it on meadowland farms both with no other options changed besides the seed, with year one completable bundle and with randomized bundles. All produce the same lack of rain

Got another seed from Reddit - 756998818 - which is also close to max rain but has a fairy on 4th:

Confirmed on PS5 Standard Farm, but as noted above, predictor is wrong about Day 5, it is sunny. So this has 17 days of rain.
Also, rain on the 28th is pretty useless in Year 1 unless you happen to have coffee seeds, which would be rare.

The fairy on the 4th however definitely can make up for the less rain, and the prospect of having a batch of fully grown cauliflower day 5 is interesting. Could launch a fast start.

Did a quick check for events or interesting items at the cart. Some have rain spread out, some are better with focused continuous rain at some part of spring...

Im going to do some more digging. It seems to get exponentially larger the fewer rain days required, so going to try with 15. I also want a good deal of forage day 1 to sprint me into day 2 with enough resources. I also would like enough night events for esthetics, specifically a couple owl statues. Ideally a fairy after the egg festival to speed grow the strawberries.

Does anyone know if checking the year 1 completable messes with the other RNG? That would expand the range of seeds with no natural cabbages.

I was playing with one of the seeds and it had a LOT of rain, very well timed to get Caroline's 2 heart event while also maximizing rain, it has quite a bit of rain in summer too, which gave me a couple early days to finish sprinklers.

The only mod I play with is the mod that restores the price of tea saplings, because I disagree with the nerf, fiber is hard enough to find in the early game.

The restartitis is hard though. I need to make a paper calender to help me remember everything after I plan it out lol

You will have more of them than she can hit usually, still nice end result ;)

I would say that seeds with rain in the third week and some afterwards are the best. You can handle watering early on with a few crops, but say it starts raining in the third week, and you plant hundreds of cauliflower (assuming 12 rain days) or potatoes, and get profits that way. With strawberries, you really have to have them watered every day to not lose that second harvest (1-2 days to spare?). On top of that, you can plant/replant all your spring wild seeds.

Im actually pretty disappointed in strawberries. Without speed grow they only get 2 harvests.

Overall, spring crops are a disaster, and realistically, even blueberries in summer can be dunked by some chickens, which won't require hard-farming for quality sprinklers and are quite easy to scale up in spring.

With how the game looks now, I would say:

- fish ponds for each legendary fish you catch
- Start mahogany tree seed farming ASAP to have mahogany for mushroom logs after green rain in summer
- Build coops or barns in spring, using rainy day catfishing to force-buy resources if needed (riverlands farm with fish smoker can be really profitable, even with coal from bought wood)
- Ignore crops (if it's a rainy game seed, then just spam kale or potato for free level 10 farming) :)

Then, in the summer, start the pine forest with mushroom logs (either on the farm or like on the train station). Add next legendary fish pond, increase sheep/pig count, and start seeing those numbers go up :)
