Cooking is one of those things that is stylistically cool but in practice often gets neglected for a long time.
What I'd really enjoy is a weekly or bi-weekly cooking quest Gus could give you, once you have a kitchen on your house. Something like...
"Hey there, <farmername>. When I heard you had built youself a kitchen, it got me thinking about when I first started cooking. I'd love to give you a little incentive along your journey!
Every few weeks, I'll be doing a special item on the menu. If you could make enough of it for me, I'd be happy to pay you a special rate for the inconvenience!
To get started, how about you make me at least 10 Hashbrowns? I'll pay you 330 gold each, and I'll buy as many as you can bring me!
(PS, if you don't have corn or an oil press yet, I sell oil in the Saloon!)"
After this first quest, he will basically ask for something new every week, something you haven't cooked before, just to help people want to cook some of the more obscure things! And maybe you'll get a ticket every so often for it, too?
